The stainless steel can on the left is used for the storage of radioactive material. This seamless can is drawn from .125" thick stainless. The open end is joggled, and later threaded, for proper fit with the lid. The smaller stainless can houses a salt water circulating pump. Critical features are roundness and a crisp flange radius.
