Rings
A Ring is best characterized by its large center opening.
Rings can be small like the ring on a key chain, or a large
like a frame of a hallway mirror. The cross section of the
side of a ring may be almost any configuration: a U, L, J,
I, C, etc.
U Rings
Both of these aluminum parts are components for industrial equipment.
The Hub Ring, on the left, requires precise hole positioning on both
flanges. The Housing, on the right, requires that the opposing flanges
are parallel.
