This Mini Tank and End Cap are components of a portable cryogenic oxygen system. The parts are drawn from .018" thick stainless. The End Cap requires a stepped lid, or joggle, which facilitates assembly. Extruded holes are used to support tubes which are welded to the assembly. This cost effective two-piece design saves time over the more traditional manufacturing approach of a welded cylinder with two end caps.
