The aluminum Venturi on the left channels air flow in car wash dryers. The hourglass shape, called a re-entrant contour, requires a unique approach to tooling since the part becomes trapped on the tooling during forming. The aluminum part on the right is a lamp shade for outdoor light. Note the "collar" feature at the center opening, used for mounting, and the bead on the outer edge, which ensures safe handling.
